Note on the Radschlag

The Radschlag will be closed from 4 October to 8 October 2022.

Current opening hours

Due to the current rate of new infections, our do-it-yourself bicycle repair workshops are restricted in their opening hours or have changed their opening hours:

  • Do-it-yourself bicycle repair workshop "Radgeber"
    • Current opening hours: Monday-Friday from 12.00 noon-6.00 p.m.
      There are currently six working stations that are open.
  • Do-it-yourself bicycle repair workshop "RadSchlag"
    • The do-it-yourself repair area is accessible without appointment. Due to the social distancing rules there are currently six working stations that are open. Current opening hours: Monday-Friday from 10.00 a.m.-6.00 p.m.; Saturday 10.00 a.m.-2.00 p.m.
  • Workshop "VILLA gGmbH"
    • The do-it-yourself repair area is accessible without appointment. If possible, repairs are to be made outside in the courtyard.
      Current opening hours: Monday-Thursday from 4.00-7.00 p.m.

Do-It-Yourself Bicycle Repair Shops

In our do-it-yourself repair shops students can repair their bikes for free. If needed  free expert counselling is provided  to students when repairing their bicycles. These do-it-yourself repair shops are being financed by the Mobility Fund. For this service you will have to present your student card containing the "SB" or "MDV" logo for the running semester. Every student paying the Semesterbeitrag to Studentenwerk Leipzig can make use of the following facilities:
